Graphics

There is no such thing as the perfect web site. A site which is visually stunning may take an age to appear on your screen because of the sheer number of graphics it contains. On the other hand, a sites with no graphics are often dull to look at and may not create the impression you want.

The same can be said for special programming techniques, such as Java Applets, JavaScript, Shockwave and Flash. A good site must strike a balance between visual impact and download time.

Flash

The menu system and many of the graphics on this site use Flash, which allows us to use colourful, animated, interactive graphics with an incredibly fast download time. If your browser doesn't have the Flash plug-in installed, they are automatically replaced with something your browser can display.

Testing

We think it is important that your pages can be accessed by all of your potential customers, regardless of the type of computer they use, or its speed. Our pages are tested using several different browsers to ensure compatibility and sensible download times.
